How it works

From your resume to submitted applications

Exactly what happens to each application — what’s automatic, where you stay in control, and when a credit is kept.

The life of an application
  1. Queued
    Credit held
  2. Preparing
    Form read, answers planned
  3. Ready
    Waiting for your browser
  4. Submitting
Your browser fills and sends it
  5. Submitted
    Confirmed — credit kept
  • Needs your answer
A question only you can answer
  • Needs a quick check
A CAPTCHA for you to finish
  • Not charged
Failed, couldn’t confirm, skipped or cancelled — credit returned

Set up once

The answers every application reuses. Change them any time; new applications use whatever you saved last.

  • Upload your resume. We read it and pre-fill your profile — name, contact details, links, current role and experience — for you to check.
  • Optionally, get an AI resume review: a score, the issues holding it back with a fix for each, and rewrites of weak bullet points (2 credits). It goes out with every application, so it’s worth getting right.
  • Add your standing answers: work authorization and sponsorship for each country, salary expectation, notice period, start date, relocation, past employers and how you usually hear about jobs.
  • Choose how open-ended questions are handled: drafted from your resume, or sent to you to write. Choose what happens when a form asks you to attest you didn’t use AI: skip the job (the default) or fill it only with your own answers.
  • Self-identification (gender, race, veteran and disability) is “decline to answer” unless you choose otherwise.
  • Authorize automated applications and connect the Chrome extension. Nothing is ever submitted before you do.

Choose your jobs

However you find them, every job goes into the same queue and is handled the same careful way.

Paste job links

Links to Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby postings — up to 50 at a time. Each is checked before anything is held.

Paste a company’s job board

Like jobs.lever.co/acme or job-boards.greenhouse.io/acme. We read the board right away, you pick the kinds of jobs you want, and apply to every match.

Search our index

Filter open roles by job type, seniority, country, remote or on-site, and how recently they were posted. Boards are re-read every 6 hours.

Save a search that applies for you

New postings that match are applied to as they appear — published in the last 14 days, up to the daily limit you set (default 25).

Up to 500 new applications a day and 500 in one bulk apply. You can cap how many go to any one company if you like — there’s no cap unless you set one. You’re never applied to the same posting twice.

We prepare each application

Before anything is filled in, the server reads the employer’s real application form and plans an answer for every field.

  1. 1
    Your answers for this application
Anything you typed for this job takes priority.
  2. 2
    Your profile and resume
Name, contact details, links, the resume file itself.
  3. 3
    Answers you saved before
A question you answered once is answered the same way next time.
  4. 4
    Rules for standard screening questions
Authorization, sponsorship, age, non-competes, salary, notice period, relocation — straight from your standing answers, never guessed.
  5. 5
    AI, for everything else
Inferences from your resume, and open-ended answers written in your voice from your real experience and the job description. It’s instructed never to invent facts.
  • Every answer is checked against the form: choices must be real options, lengths must fit.
  • A required question that can’t be answered truthfully becomes “needs your answer” — you answer once, and it’s saved for next time.
  • Questions meant to catch bots (puzzles, “if you are an AI…”) are sent to you, never answered for you.
  • Required cover letters are written from your resume and attached as a PDF.

Your browser submits it

Our Chrome extension does the submitting, from your computer and your internet connection — like you applying yourself.

  • While Chrome is open, the extension checks for ready applications about once a minute and handles them one at a time, with a pause in between.
  • It opens the application in a background tab, fills in every answer, submits, and watches for the employer’s confirmation. Then it closes the tab.
  • If the site shows a CAPTCHA or another human check, it stops and notifies you. You finish it; it picks up the confirmation. It never tries to solve or get around one.
  • Turn on Dry run to watch it fill forms without submitting, or pause it any time from the toolbar.

The extension’s permissions, and what it can and can’t see, are on our security page.

You see everything — and pay for what went through

Every application ends with a receipt and a clear status.

  • A receipt for each application shows exactly what was submitted.
  • A credit is kept only when the employer’s site confirms the submission. Failed, unconfirmed, skipped and cancelled applications get their credit back automatically.
  • If there was no confirmation after submitting, it’s never retried — so you don’t apply twice. Check your email for the company’s own confirmation.
  • We email you when an application needs your answer or a quick check, and you choose which other emails you get.
